Thomás Zicman de Barros

I am a political theorist, currently working as a post-doctoral fellow at the Centre for Ethics, Politics and Society at the University of Minho, and research associate at CEVIPOF, the Centre for Political Research of Sciences Po Paris.

My research focuses on populism and protest movements. My PhD discussed the articulation between Political Theory and Psychoanalysis in a study of the Yellow Vests movement. With Miguel Lago, I have recently published a book on populism in Brazil.
